ASSYST service computer

Extension of oil change intervals to as much as 60,000 km for diesel vehicles or at least every two years. Maintenance intervals are up to 120,000 km (diesel models) depending on usage.


Cruise Control

Helps to maintain a set speed, making the driver's job easier. SPEEDTRONIC speed limiter also makes it easier to maintain a set speed, for example motorway road works.


Continuous partition wall

Protects driver and co-driver from shifting loads. The partition is optionally available with a fixed or sliding window or a sliding door.


Crosswind Assist [1]

Provides stabilisation in strong, gusty side winds through automatic brake interventions in order to help stay in lane, thus forestalling any hasty inappropriate reactions.


Multifunction steering wheel

Now with new, thicker rim and chrome highlights.


Driver Airbag

When combined with a fastened seat belt, the driver's front airbag enhances the protection potential in the event of a serious frontal collision. The diagram (right) shows simulated front-airbag activation.


Vehicle chassis lowered by 30 mm

New for vehicles with 3.5 t perm. GVW.Makes loading and unloading easier due to the lower load compartment sill and helps save fuel through the lower vehicle height.
